Ratings and reviews

How to leave a review, what other founders see, and where ratings come from.

Ratings come from founders who've actually worked with an investor or a fundraising service, so they're worth a look before you apply.

Where do I see someone's reviews?

Their rating sits on their card, and you'll find the individual reviews in the Reviews tab when you open them up. No rating just means nobody has reviewed them yet.

Can I leave a review?

Yes, as long as you've genuinely worked with them. That goes for investors and fundraising services alike.

How do I leave a review?

  1. Log in to ThatRound

  2. Find who you want to review in My investors or Fundraising support, and open them up

  3. Go to the Reviews tab in the sidebar on the right

  4. Click Leave a review at the bottom of the tab

  5. Fill in the form. It shouldn't take more than five minutes

Keep it factual, and leave out anything confidential like contract terms or private investor names.

How do you check I've worked with them?

We'll ask you to upload something that confirms it. Any of these work:

  • Invoice or payment receipt

  • Signed contract or agreement

  • Email correspondence

  • Term sheet or investment agreement

We only use these to verify your review, and we delete them securely once that's done.

What happens after I submit?

Once it's approved, your review appears on their profile.

If you'd like to verify a review you've already submitted, email [email protected] with the documentation and we can mark it as verified.
