Once an investor accepts your application, they move into the My investors tab. That's where you keep track of everyone you've been introduced to and are in conversation with.
What do the statuses mean?
Introduced: You've been introduced and can message each other
Pitching: You're in conversation about the round
Due diligence: They're looking at your business in more detail
Closing: You're working through the final steps
Closed: The deal completed
Passed: They've decided not to go ahead
Who sets the investor status?
The investor does, so there's nothing for you to update.
That also makes it a useful signal. If someone moves you to Due diligence, that's them telling you where you are.
How do I message an investor?
Once you've been introduced, they'll either message you in the platform or request to share their email address and you’ll be introduced via email. Anyone who wants to keep their email private until they're ready will use platform messaging.
