What types of investors will I see?
Angel networks, investor syndicates, VCs and family offices. Whichever it is shows on their card, so you know who you'd be dealing with before you apply.
We don't have individual angel investors on the platform, only the decision makers who run the networks, syndicates and funds. That means when you apply, your pitch reaches someone who can act on it.
What's an 'On ThatRound' investor?
These investors take applications directly on ThatRound. One click to send an application, and your pitch page does the rest.
You'll find them under the On ThatRound tab in Find investment.
What's a 'Public listing' investor?
These investors aren't fully on ThatRound yet. We show you what we know about them, and if you hit apply we'll direct you to their own site to apply there.
We recommend including your ThatRound pitch page URL in your application, as it surfaces all your key information in one place.
Because they haven't given us their criteria directly, their fit is built from publicly available information. There's more in How investor fit works.
Can I apply to both?
Yes. The difference is only in how you apply. On ThatRound investors take applications within the platform, public listings take it on their own site.
