Once a startup has formally engaged you — meaning their application has been approved, they’ve signed the contract, and any applicable fees have been paid — you can begin introducing them to your investor network. The startup card will now appear in the “Engaged” section of the main menu.
Making Introductions
On each Startup Pitch Page, you’ll find a “Share Profile” button. This generates a trackable link unique to you, ensuring that investor views are counted in the startup’s analytics. This helps startups measure the impact of your introductions. You can share this link with investors via any preferred method.
Additionally, on the Startup Card, you’ll see an option to “Make Intro”, where you can provide investor details directly to the startup.
When making an introduction, you can input:
Investor Name
Email Address
Contact Phone Number
LinkedIn Profile URL
The startup will then engage with the investor independently and manage any investor’s offers from Committed to Closed, with the amount reflecting on the startups profile so others can see their progress.
Tracking Investor Introductions
The “More Info” tab on the Startup Card provides an overview of all investor introductions you’ve made. Here, you can:
Track which introductions have progressed to Committed or Closed investments
Update investor details if necessary
Effective tracking ensures transparency and helps measure the success of your investor connections.
