Overview
On ThatRound, partners appear as either Full Partners or Public Listings.
Full Partners: manually verified, active organisations that have opted in to receive dealflow from ThatRound. They use ThatRound as a trusted source of high-quality, relevant startups.
Public Listings: a legitimate funding provider that is part of our open directory, curated by ThatRound. With Public Listings, you can explore and compare options across the market before applying to them.
Full Partners
There are two types of Full Partners - Self-Managed and ThatRound Managed.
Full Partners (Self-Managed): the partner logs in and uses ThatRound directly themselves.
Full Partners (ThatRound-Managed): ThatRound reviews your pitch and makes introductions on the partner’s behalf.
Full Partner: Self Managed
Full Partners are verified, active organisations that are fully connected to ThatRound with their own logins.
You can apply directly and communicate through the platform, with your application sent instantly to their team for review and next steps.
These partners log in to ThatRound and handle their dealflow directly.
Apply: Your application goes straight to the partner’s dashboard/email.
Tracking: You’ll see updates in ThatRound.
Statuses you’ll see: Pending → Screening → Approved / Declined → (optional) Engaged → Closed
Full Partner: ThatRound Managed
Managed Partners are also verified, active organisations, but they have opted in to receive qualified introductions managed by ThatRound.
These partners often receive a large volume of applications and have a specific criteria they look for when reviewing potential investments. To ensure relevance, they’ve provided ThatRound with a detailed set of criteria and have authorised us to pre-vet deals on their behalf.
Apply: When you apply to a ThatRound-Managed Partner, we then run a qualitative assessment* to ensure alignment and readiness. If your startup fits, we send your Pitch Page directly to the decision-makers for review.
Statuses you’ll see: Pending → Screening → Introduced After the intro, communication moves off-platform and the partner will appear in My Partners → Introduced.
* What is a qualitative assessment by ThatRound?
This is a matching process that looks beyond the initial data and gets into the nitty gritty of relevance criteria. The partner has provided us with a detailed set of criteria that we use when reviewing your Pitch Page.
For example, if a partner has said they “Only want founders with a PhD in the sector”, or “We look at HealthTech, but avoid medical devices” and you don’t meet this, that wouldn’t get picked up in the initial match, but it would in our qualitative assessment.

Public Listings
Public Listings are funding providers (e.g. syndicates, angel networks, fundraising services) curated to feature in ThatRound’s open directory. If you decide to engage, you’ll be redirected to the partner’s website. We’re in the process of helping more Public Listings transition into Full Partners.
What you get: Key facts (focus, pricing estimates, comparisons, and verified reviews)
Apply: Redirect to the partner’s site if you choose to proceed.
