Summary Card
The Summary Card is how your business appears in search results among other partners. Startups can quickly view a snapshot of the details available on your Full Profile, including:
Company name
Partner type
FCA status
Investor types you can introduce
Average rating
Total amount previously raised through ThatRound
Full Profile
Your Full Profile appears on the right-hand side of the screen when startups click your Summary Card. It consists of three main tabs:
Summary Tab – Displays key information for comparison, including sector focus, location, and ticket size range.
T&Cs Tab – Lists details about your service packages, associated fees, and FCA status (if applicable).
Reviews Tab – Shows feedback from startups who have engaged with your services.
Partner Profile Information
Partner Type
Startups can better understand your services based on your partner type:
Online Platforms – Web-based networks providing access to a wide pool of investors
Crowdfunding – Platforms enabling startups to raise funds from a broad audience of smaller investors
Investor Syndicates – Groups of individuals investing collectively in startups
Angel Networks – Smaller groups of angel investors pooling resources, often geographically focused
Fundraising Services – Professionals offering pitch consulting, investor introductions, and fundraising events
Institutional Brokers – Corporate finance specialists handling larger deals with VC firms or institutional investors
Pitch Events – Organised events where startups present to potential investors and industry experts
Accelerators – Structured programs that provide mentorship, funding, and resources to help startups grow rapidly
Partner Ratings
Your rating out of 5 is based on verified startup reviews gathered from you directly, and various other sources.
Total Raised
Displays total funds raised (£ GBP) through ThatRound or verified external sources, reflecting your track record in securing investment.
Partner Fees & Payment Structures
Your fee structure is visible on your Summary Card and within your profile’s T&Cs tab, including:
Upfront Fee – Covers initial costs, often charged by institutional brokers
Monthly Retainer – A recurring fee for ongoing fundraising support
Success Fee – A percentage of funds raised via your investor introductions
Follow-on Success Fee – Applied to subsequent investments from your investor network
Partner Terms & Conditions (T&Cs)
The T&Cs tab outlines key contractual terms startups should be aware of:
Term – Length of engagement
Lock-up Period – Duration after contract ends where success fees still apply.
Exclusivity – Whether you require exclusivity from startups
Follow-on Period – Length of time follow-on success fees apply
Upfront Refund on Success – Whether your upfront fee is refundable if no investment is secured
These terms are linked to the ThatRound Universal Partner Contract or your own bespoke Partner contract (chosen during onboarding), which each startup must adhere to upon engagement. They are also specific to the packages you make available to startups.
Regulatory Information
A green check mark on your Summary Card indicates FCA (Financial Conduct Authority) authorisation. More details, including FCA registration numbers, are listed in the T&Cs section of your profile.
Not all partners require FCA authorisation—this depends on investor types and fundraising activities
Partners not requiring FCA authorisation are marked as Exempt
